This is what I did last week, just in time for Easter. It's an "All Year Round Candy Dish Pedestal". This is the Easter one--since I AM linking it up to the SPRING challenge :)
What I LOVE about this is it's just one candy dish pedestal that I can keep on my entryway table all year round, with just a simple change of ribbon to accommodate the holiday/season, I'm ready to fill it with "welcome" and "thank you for coming" candy. No more broken candy dishes in my storage :) (By the way, the ribbon has elastic to make it easy to stretch on and stay in one place).
