Instead of spending $20+ on one, I decided to make one.
Here's how it turned out:
My total cost was $1..... Only because I have tons of scrap fabric and extra ribbon...
Here's how I did it:
Bought this white board at Target for $1.00
(kid size)
Cut a piece of fabric to hang over the white board (1 in.) on each side.
Fold fabric edges in and hot glue 3 sides to white board (making a pocket)
(excuse the wrinkles)
Stuff with grocery bags.
Hot glue the last side to the white board
Flip over and leave as is OR decorate it with ribbon and buttons
I'm happy with how it came out, especially for $1.00. I love when I could use stuff from my stash.
This is great! Thanks for sharing your instructions; I'll have to keep it in mind for my husband's daughter!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. My daughter does the same thing with the book on her lap. I have some extra foam that I could use or even a junky pillow that is around the same size.
