It's still a work in progress... I want to add a bench table (booth style), a different light, and do something to the paint color (don't know exactly what yet). BUT, at least this is done.
I built the shelf (don't ask for the tutorial, I don't even know what I did, I just came out lucky lol). I sewed the curtains and stapled them to the inside of the shelf (with staple gun).
For the curtains (decor purposed only---not lined), I simply cut my fabric the width and length desired, sewed the two colors together (this is NOT a tutorial, just a recap)
Zig-zag the edges to avoid fraying
Fold the edges and press with the iron
Finish edges and staple gun to the shelf.
I also made these silhouette plates of my girls
I made there silhouettes on the computer by taking a profile picture of them, deleting the background and painted their heads black
Print and cut out their heads, glued them to these tin plates purchased at the dollar tree and spray painted white:
It looks very pretty. I love the curtains.
